Can I split my property?
Minimum lot size and width is determined by the property's zoning. Depending on the number of lots you want to create, you may be required to apply for a Lot Split or Subdivision Plat. Contact the Planning staff at (480) 348-3693 for more information on this subject.
3.
What if I am unable to meet a development standard like height or setback?
Property owners may apply for a variance from a certain development standard from the Board of Adjustment. Variances are granted based on property hardships such as topography, unusual lot size or configuration, or location. Contact the Planning staff at (480) 348-3693 for more information on this subject.
